Al-Jaberti

Synopsis:

A child is afraid of refugees because of his mother’s scary stories about “Al-Jaberti”, and one day he was surprised by a refugee who followed him home…Just then, his opinion about them completely changes! 

About the importance of raising individuals that accept differences and live with others to build peaceful society.

Director Bio

Khaled studied a number of advanced courses in filmmaking and directing with the Syrian director Mohammad Bayazid and the Lebanese director Nadine Labaki. Khaled has also worked as an executing producer for several short films and video clips for local and international organizations and private institutions.

خالد لكرع مخرج وصانع أفلام من عدن، حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الإذاعة والتلفزيون من جامعة  عدن، أخذ عددًا من الدورات المتخصصة في الإخراج السينمائي وصناعة الأفلام مع المخرج السوري محمد بايزيد والمخرجة اللبنانية نادين لبكي. منتج منفذ لعدد من الأفلام القصيرة والفيديو كليب لمنظمات محلية ودولية ومؤسسات خاصة.
